Arnold Bennett Hall, president of the university, who gave her in marriage. The dress had long sleeves with the white georgette forming a slightly flaring cuff. With the dress was worn a veil of fine silk net embroidered around the border. The veil was arranged in cap shape about the bead with a cluster of orange blossoms at either side, and fell in a cape about the shoulders and in a long train. For her flowers the bride carried a beautiful shower of white and cream roses and lilies of the valley, tied with white ribbon.
The dress was made in tight bodice style with a skirt which flared from the hipline and reached the floor. Small flat bows of the same material on the left shoulder were the only trimming. She carried an arm bouquet of roses and sweet peas in yellow and pink shades. Their dresses were made alike in beautiful combinations of tulle and satin. Miss Webster wore a lemon green tulle over satin, and Miss Leach an orchid over the same colored satin.
The skirts were made with full tiers of the fluffy tulle. At the back of each was a large bow of taffeta with long streamers. Each wore brilliants at the back of her head. For their flowers they carried arm bouquets of roses, sweet pears, and stocks in pastel shades.
